November Fishing Report

Last Updated on November 30, 2015 by SteamWorks 2

Fishing has been fantastic for the better part of November. With the water temps dropping, redfish have been very cooperative in shallow water using fly fishing equipment and various artificial baits like the Vudu Shrimp. Speckled trout have also been cooperative using the Vudu Shrimp under a popping cork as well as Saltwater Assassin grubs. I’ve been running most fishing charters out of Georgetown and McClellanville recently, but the bite has been fantastic a little closer to Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet and Palweys Island.

With Winter right around the corner, look for some of the best sightfishing of the year as water clarity improves and redfish begin to school up in shallow water.
