January Fishing Report

Last Updated on January 30, 2014 by

Redfish continue to school in the shallow areas of the estuaries, primarily in small creeks and oyster bays. The water clarity is exceptional which makes sight fishing for Redfish a blast this time of year. Temperatures have been relatively mild and water temps continue to stay in the 50’s which is normal for this time of year. Fish are eating a variety of baits including live and artificial, however a subtle presentation is the key to getting these spooky fish to eat.
