FAQs

The best part about this area in no matter what time of year it is, there always something to catch. Redfish and sea trout are the primary targets year around, while other species of fish like tarpon, sharks, and flounder are more seasonal.

Everything needed for a day of fishing is provided on your charter including; top quality fishing rods, tackle, bait, fishing license for all passengers, and a cooler with ice. Fish cleaning service is also provided.

The majority of our trips depart from Georgetown S.C. where we have access to North Inlet, Winyah Bay, Santee Delta and Cape Romain. We are also capable of departing from Debordieu, Murrells Inlet, McClellanville or Awendaw if the client has a specific request. Most of the fishing we do takes place in calm water however if conditions allow we may venture out into the ocean to target other species of fish. If anyone is prone to sea sickness, please advise the captain beforehand.

We have a weight limit on each vessel for safety reasons, which only allows for a max of 4 adult passengers. Exceptions can be made for families with young children. Multiple boats can be arranged for larger groups.

Passenger safety is the top priority and the captain reserves the right to cancel trip due to weather, in which case a full deposit refund will be issued. Your captain will be in touch with you before the trip and we will do our best to reschedule if there is a chance of bad weather.

A hat, sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, non-skid shoes, (Black Sole Shoes and Flip Flops are not recommended) as well as adequate clothing for the time of year. The captain will provide a cooler with ice so please bring food and drinks. Please avoid black sole shoes and glass bottles.

The following forms of payment are accepted(in preferred order) Cash, Check, Venmo, PayPal, Credit Card.

Passengers are not required to purchase a saltwater fishing license. We purchase an annual charter permit that allows our passengers to fish without purchasing a South Carolina fishing license.

We do not have enclosed restrooms on our boats. But, we do carry portable potties in case of emergencies. Or, if you are more comfortable going ashore to use a local facility, we can do that as well.
